Hubby already got his first paycheck! How cool is that!?! We kind of knew it could happen, but figured we wouldn't expect a check so soon since he just started a week ago.
Now it wasn't perfect. It was a check for only a week's worth of work after all! Hubby still hasn't changed the deductions so it's 0...yes zero, as in none. *Sigh* That's a lot of taxes being taken out that we could use right now. But we also don't have other things taken out right now either like insurance, 401K, life insurance, etc.
So even with the extra taken out in taxes, it's still a nice check!
I'm already initiating "project saving/payoff"! Lol! I've actually created a whole spreadsheet listing our debts, a mini budget, what I've spent each month on groceries, and a running plan to re-save our emergency fund and pay down our debt. That's a whole other post for another time so I can get into it further then. We have a few other changes in our plan as it pertains to our house, too. That's yet another post! So be on the look out for those...
